Discover the coastal splendour and highlights of historic Çeşme during this scenic, half-day orientation excursion.

Cakabey and Çeşme

Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 30-minute drive to Cakabey. Upon arrival, a stop is made at a viewpoint on the hill for spectacular panoramic vistas of your surroundings. After a photo stop here, re-board your coach and head to Çeşme Castle, which dominates this seaside resort town. Upon arrival, proceed past the Pasha Statue located in front of the castle, and take a guided walking tour of the castle and museum areas.

Alaçatı

Next, re-board your coach and continue on to historic Alaçatı, a charming little old town famous for its narrow cobbled streets adorned with single- and two-story stone houses. Following an orientation tour of Alaçatı and some free time at your leisure, proceed for a comfort and refreshment stop at one of the town's many local cafés. At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 30-minute drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, at times over uneven and cobblestone surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and several steps at the castle. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended.
