Upon arrival, enjoy approximately two hours of free time to unwind however you choose wade into the clear, shallow bay, or relax beneath the natural shade of sea grape trees. Maho Bay’s uniquely gentle conditions—protected from strong winds and waves—make it ideal for floating, leisurely swimming, and families with children. Guests may also explore nearby vendors for drinks, snacks, sun protection, gifts, and optional watersports rentals such as kayaks, paddleboards, floating loungers, and glass-bottom kayaks (at guest' expense).

A Laid-Back Caribbean Escape

This relaxed beach experience is perfect for those seeking serenity rather than structured activities.  After your time at the beach, reboard the safari bus for a scenic return drive to Cruz Bay, leaving you refreshed and immersed in the mellow island spirit.
Note: There are no lockers at the beach. Guests should bring waterproof bags for phones, cameras, and valuables.

Please note: A beach chair (not a sunbed) is included in this tour.  This easy walking excursion involves activities in the water and walking over sand for approx. 10 yards from vehicle to beach. It is not suitable for guests who utilize a wheelchair or walker. The guests should consider their physical fitness and comfort in the water before choosing this excursion. Bottled water is provided in the tour vehicle, which features bench seating. Bring along your preferred sun protection, swimwear, towel, and change of clothes. Children aged 2 and older are welcome.
