Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 45-minute drive to the Kilim Jetty. Upon arrival at the parking area, a short, guided walk brings you to the jetty. After receiving your safety and tour instructions, embark your boat for a picturesque and relaxing, approximately two-hour river cruise along the Kilim Geoforest Park, an UNESCO Global Geopark. Along the way, marvel at the exquisite beauty, hidden gems, and endemic flora and fauna unique to these wetlands. Your first stop is at the Gua Kelawar (Bat Caves), where the majority of the Malaysian fruit bat population can be found.
Malaysian Fruit Bats, Eagle Watching,
Upon arrival, disembark your boat and stroll along the approximately 109-yard (about 100-metre) pontoon, or approximately 897-square-yard (about 750-square-metre) footbridge with high roof, which actually goes into the cave. Inside, observe the cave's huge Malaysian fruit bat population. Back on board, your river cruise continues through the park's mangrove forest. Here, you can observe white-headed eagles, along with a wide array of wildlife, including herons, red eagles, long-tailed macaques, reptiles, squirrels, and more. From here, head to the Gua Buaya (Crocodile Cave). The entrance to the cave resembles a completely developed crocodile from nose-to-tail.
Upon arrival and after a comfort stop, walk back to the parking area, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 45-minute drive back to the pier.

Note
Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 284 yards (about 260 metres), at times over uneven and natural surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and embark/disembark the boat. This tour is not suitable for guests prone to motion sickness, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable, cotton clothing and long pants with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection, insect repellent, and bottled water from the ship. Infrastructure in Malaysia may be basic, and local conditions may be challenging; coaches, guides, equipment, and services are the best-available in the area, but may not be up to the standards of those found on other excursions. Therefore, we urge flexibility and understanding as we visit unique, less touristic destinations. Since the Crocodile Cave connects to the river system, a cave visit is accessible during low tide only. Expect high temperatures and humid conditions. The tour sequence may vary.
