The school was established in 1952 mainly for farmworker’s children.

The school’s mission is to give their children the very best education they can, to equip them with life-long learning with good literacy skills. To enable them to contribute to their communities with the knowledge that they will gain through reading.

The initiative regularly provides books to Fort Grey & have donated the empty 40-foot container, which was  received from “Books for the World” in January 2023. It will be converted into a Library & Environmental Centre.
