Sugar Shack
Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 30-minute drive to the Cabane à Sucre (Sugar Shack). Upon arrival, learn about the production of Maple products and evolution of the process over the years, then enter the Main Hall of the Sugar Shack for an evening filled with live entertainment and French-Canadian folklore.
Dinner, Maple Taffy-Pull, Singing, Dancing, Music
A traditional Québécois, all-you-can-eat, family-style meal is served. After dinner, an authentic Québécois maple taffy-pull, a time-honoured tradition, kicks off more singing, dancing and music. At the conclusion of this festive, fun-filled evening, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 30-minute drive back to the pier.
Please note: This tour involves a minimal amount of walking for approximately 100 yards (about 91 metres), at times over uneven and gravel surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach. This tour is suitable for guests with limited mobility, but is not wheelchair-accessible. Guests are advised to lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring a sweater or light jacket from the ship. Guests must be at least 21 years old to be served alcoholic beverages. The tour is not exclusive for Silversea guests. Space on this tour is very limited; we suggest you book in advance to avoid disappointment.
