Discover magnificent views of Rhodes during this picturesque half-day sightseeing tour. Visit the church at Philerimos, built over the ruins of a Greek temple and early Christian catacombs, and the site of Kamiros, which is also referred as little Pompeii due to the remarkable archaeological value.

Monte Smith

Leaving the pier, drive to Monte Smith for panoramic views of the old Acropolis of Rhodes town. Here, you will have a chance to witness several elements of the ancient city, founded in the 5^th century BC, like the theatre, the stadium and the temple of Pythian Apollo. You will be able to enjoy an unforgettable view of the town of Rhodes.

Philerimos

Next, head to Philerimos, a plateau of 1000 feet above sea level, with a drive through the splendid landscape filled with cypress, pines and green oaks. Visit the church of Our Lady, built by the knights of St. John as well as the restored monastery and the barrel-vault Chapel of St. George with its frescoes from the 15^th century.

Ancient Kameiros

Continue to the ancient treasures of Kamiros, including the Agora, Acropolis, ancient buildings, houses, and temples. Listen to your guide as he brings you close to the ancient life and atmosphere through explanations. Enjoy a great view from the top of the hill and a beautiful scene with ancient ruins, blue seas and a chain of mountains at the horizon.

The tour concludes with approximately 45-minute drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking on cobblestone streets and uphill areas, with approximately 50 steps to negotiate. Guests must be able to walk approximately 1.5 mile over uneven ground including gravel and stones. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and those who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear light-weight clothing, comfortable walking shoeas and bring hat and sun protection.
