The region is arguably Greece's most important red-wine appellation, located in the northeast corner of the Peloponnese peninsula. Nemea Wine Region, Skouras Winery

Depart the pier for approximately 30-minute drive to the renowned wine-making town of Nemea, and visit Skouras Winery. Domaine Skouras resides in the outstanding appellation of Nemea, in northeastern Peloponnese. Founded in 1986, Skouras produce a range of wines based on the Agiorgitiko grape variety as well as from international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon. George Skouras, owner, oenologist and wine-maker at Domaine Skouras, is one of the true pioneers of the modern Greek wine renaissance.


Winery Tour, Wine Tasting & Local Snacks

Upon arrival, take a short walk through the winery and discover the history and production of the famous Nemea wine. Learn about vintage and the ageing process in the impressive one-thousand-barrel cellar, which has a constant temperature of +14°C and 70% humidity. Here, wines are aged under ideal conditions. You are then invited to sample five different types of wines produced at the Skouras Winery. They are accompanied by some local snacks and served amidst a lovely winery landscape.


At the conclusion of your visit, re-board the coach for the return drive back to the pier.
