Excursion Scenic drive by jeep tour at Ko Samui

Board a 4X4 jeep that will take you to visit the Kunaram Temple, the Grand Parent Ricks, to visit coconut plantation and enjoy the scenic drive along the Southern Coast of Ko Samui.
Part of an archipelago of 80 small islands, Koh Samui is an island of forested hills, majestic coconut palms and alluring pristine beaches.
Kunaram Temple
After tendering ashore, enjoy the approximate thirty minute ride by 4x4 jeep from pier. Arrive at the Kunaram Temple, visit a small monastery with the sense of simplicity and tranquility where body of Samui's most famous mummified monk, Luang Poh Deang, is displayed in a sitting posture for more than 20 years ago.
Grand Parent Rocks
Continue to Grand Parent Rocks, strangely shaped rocks south of Lamai Beach are locally dubbed Hin Ta- Hin Yai. According to legend, an old couple was shipwrecked in the bay and their bodies washed ashore creating the rocks. The views from the rocks and vicinity are spectacular, stretching across the sea to nearby islands.
Coconut Plantation
Enjoy the scenic surroundings while driving past plantations, local life and some beaches before a stop is made at a coconut plantation and local farmer house, see how the coconuts are still processes in small family business. Afterwards board the jeep for the wonderful journey back to the pier.

Please note: This tour requires a moderate amount of walking, 15 steps to climb at the temple, you will also walk stone surfaces, slopes and unpaved areas. Portions of the drive are over a rough surface and the ride might be bumpy, therefore this tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility, back/neck/hip problems, those who are pregnant or suffer from motion sickness or guests who utilise a wheelchair. Flat, comfortable walking shoes and lightweight clothing are recommended however no tank tops are permitted during the temple visit. One tour guide will conduct 2-3 jeeps to give information at all the stops.
