Excursion Paklenica national park: canyon hiking experience tour at Zadar

Discover the unspoiled beauty of Paklenica National Park during this picturesque hiking adventure. Begin your journey to Starigrad Paklenica and proceed to the park, famous for its stunning peaks, profound canyons, and rugged karst terrain. After a brief orientation, embark on a guided hike through the Velika Paklenica canyon, where the landscape is characterized by cliffs, caves, and remarkable rock formations. The path gradually climbs towards Anica Luka, featuring scenic viewpoints along the route. Following a short pause to take in the vistas, retrace your steps along the same trail and finish with a relaxing drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour is recommended for guests in good physical condition. An extensive amount of walking for approximately 5km (3.10 miles) at a consistent pace, over uneven mountain terrain and gravel, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach. Guests must be able to hike up inclines for a prolonged period of time, with few breaks. The path features continuous ascents and descents across canyon landscapes. The slopes are organic, differing in steepness, and in certain areas, they may be moderately steep. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with neck/back problems, guests with heart/respiratory conditions, or guests with limited mobility. The driving time to and from the National Park is approximately 45 minutes each way. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with sturdy, closed-toe, waterproof shoes/boots, and bring sun protection and a weatherproof jacket. The tour sequence may vary. The hiking route may be adjusted in case of rain, fog, or intense winds.
