Stop at the Baranov Museum, offering a mixture of Native, Russian and American history. Then visit the Alutiiq Museum to gain a more in depth look at Alaska Native culture. A stop at the Fisheries Research Touch Tank and Aquarium provides an up close and personal look at a variety of local sea life, from sea stars to halibut to crab. After a short drive north, enjoy sweeping views from Fort Abercrombie, a historic defense installation for the North Pacific during World War II. The site offers a bunker museum of wartime memorabilia as well as beautiful views of both land and sea.

This excursion involves little walking, though there is a staircase of approximately 10 to 15 steps at the Baranov and Alutiiq Museums that may be not suitable for guests with limited mobility.
