Experience the scenic beauty and UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Colonial Lima. The city is shrouded in history and full of aesthetic delights not to be missed. Lima is sophisticated with civilization that dates back millennia; stately museums display sublime pottery, galleries debut edgy art and solemn religious processions recall the 18th century.

Lima City Tour

Depart the pier for the approximately 50-minute drive into downtown Lima, the 'City of the Kings'. Upon arrival, proceed for a panoramic sightseeing tour of San Martin Square, then drive to the main square. Sites to be seen include the home of the Government Palace, City Hall, Cathedral and the Archbishop's Palace.

Casa Aliaga and Santo Domingo Convent

Next, a visit is made to Casa Aliaga. It is the best-preserved Colonial mansion in the Americas, and has been occupied by the same family since 1535. Viist the Convent of Santo Domingo, which contains the marble tomb holding the remains of Santa Rosa de Lima.

Enjoy a local lunch.

Miraflores District

Driving to the Miraflores district, the Modern area of Lima, get a glimpse of the Huaca Pucllana archaeological complex and Love park.

Barranco

Reach Barranco, the bohemian district of Lima, known for its bars, museums, galleries and urban art. Visit the Dédalo gallery, where craft and artwork by local artists are presented.

At the conclusion of the tour, re-board the vehicle for the approximately 1-hour return drive to the pier.
