Note
Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking for approximately 1.24 miles (about two kilometres), at times over uneven, natural and slippery surfaces, inclines and declines, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach. This tour is recommended for active guests in good physical condition. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear a swimsuit under a cover-up with flat, closed-toe and non-slip hiking shoes, and bring sun protection, insect repellent, a towel, change of clothing, bottled water, and credit cards or local currency for purchases from the ship. When visiting a Fijian village, it is not polite for women to wear brief shorts and it is therefore recommended that a sarong be worn over the shorts whilst in the village. Longer (Bermuda) shorts are quite acceptable. Both men and women are advised to remove caps/hats during the kava ceremony and prior to entering a village hall. Guests must be at least 16 years old to participate on this tour. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 years or older to participate on this tour. Operation of this tour is subject to weather conditions. The tour sequence may vary. Space on this tour is very limited; we suggest you book in advance to avoid disappointment. Fiji is a low-income country with very basic infrastructure, and vastly different to the western culture mentality. Local conditions may be challenging; therefore, we urge flexibility and understanding as we visit unique and somewhat remote destinations. Coaches, guides, hotels, restaurants, equipment, and services are the best-available in the area, but may not be up to the standards of those found on other excursions. We thank you for your understanding.
