Excursion Unesco historic villages of shirakawa-go and gokayama tour at Kanazawa

After exploring the village, enjoy a gentle walk to the Ogimachi Castle Ruins Viewpoint, where sweeping vistas reveal the entire valley dotted with thatched farmhouses, a picture-perfect scene that has changed little over the centuries.

Following lunch at a charming local restaurant, continue to Ainokura Village in Gokayama, another UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, you will enjoy a scenic photo stop, capturing the beauty of its smaller, quieter cluster of Gassho-zukuri homes surrounded by mountains and rice fields.

Please note: This experience includes approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) of walking on mostly flat but uneven terrain, with some unpaved areas and gentle inclines. There are several steps throughout, including at Shirakawa-go Village and when boarding or disembarking the motorcoach. Comfortable clothing and sneakers are recommended.
