Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 547 yards (about 500 metres), at times over uneven surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the Jeep. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with back and/or neck problems, guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear warm, comfortable clothing in layers with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection and a waterproof jacket or coat from the ship. Guests must be at least five years old to participate on this tour; guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Infrastructure is limited in Djúpivogur; transportation and guides are often used for more than one tour. Although frequently encountered on this type of tour, animal sightings are not guaranteed.
