Your journey begins at the pier, where you board a specially equipped ADA van with a lift and wheelchair restraints, ensuring a comfortable experience for all guests. Depart Benoa Harbor for a scenic 2-hour drive toward the UNESCO-designated Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, passing through picturesque villages such as Pacung and Senganan. Along the way, enjoy photo stops and views of Bali’s lush plantations producing coffee, cacao, cloves, and a variety of vegetables. Your guide will share insights into the island’s agricultural traditions and the subak irrigation system that sustains these iconic landscapes.
Upon arrival at Jatiluwih, immerse yourself in the serene beauty of cascading rice fields framed by distant mountain peaks. Spend time exploring the accessible areas of the terraces and learning about the cultural significance of rice farming in Balinese life. Afterward, relax at a local restaurant for 45 minutes, where you will enjoy light refreshments, seasonal fruits, and two included beverages—choose from Balinese coffee or tea, soft drinks, local beer, or house wine. Please note that the restaurant entrance involves approximately 20 stairs, though an alternative route with 2–4 steps is available for easier access.
Following your break, begin the 2-hour return drive to Benoa Harbor, passing through the villages of Blayu and Marga. En route, admire sweeping views of Bali’s rural heartland and remaining tropical forests, offering a final glimpse of the island’s natural splendor before arriving back at the pier.
