This Overland Experience requires advance booking due to limited availability at Machu Picchu and the need to secure flights, hotel accommodations, and entrance permits. Advance reservations are strongly recommended.

A minimum number of participants is required to operate this programme. Should the minimum participation not be met, the cruise line reserves the right to offer the programme at an adjusted rate or cancel the departure.

Entrance tickets to Machu Picchu are limited and issued in advance based on guest information provided prior to departure. Full passport details must be received no later than 60 days before travel.

Airfares listed are estimated and subject to revision once airline schedules and fares are released.

Luggage allowance includes one checked bag up to 23kg (50 lbs) and one carry-on bag up to 10kg (22 lbs) per person.

DAY ONE | MANTA – QUITO – LIMA

Colonial Treasures of Ecuador's Capital

Depart the ship in Manta and transfer to the airport for your flight to Quito.

Upon arrival, begin an exploration of Quito's historic center, recognized as one of the best-preserved colonial cities in South America. Walk through elegant plazas and narrow cobblestone streets where centuries of history unfold around every corner.

Visit Independence Square, the heart of the city's historic district, surrounded by important landmarks including the Cathedral, Archbishop's Palace, and Government Palace.

Continue to the magnificent Church of La Compañía, considered one of the finest examples of Spanish Baroque architecture in Latin America. Admire its ornate gold-covered interior before visiting nearby San Francisco Church and its historic convent.

Following lunch at a local restaurant featuring Ecuadorian-inspired cuisine, return to the airport for your flight to Lima.

Upon arrival in Peru, transfer to your airport hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY TWO | LIMA – CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY

Into the Heart of the Inca Empire

After breakfast, return to Lima Airport for your flight to Cusco.

Upon arrival, journey into Peru's breathtaking Sacred Valley, a region of soaring mountains, fertile agricultural terraces, and ancient Inca traditions.

Your first stop is the remarkable archaeological site of Pisac. Perched on a mountain ridge overlooking the valley below, Pisac is renowned for its intricate agricultural terraces, ceremonial structures, and panoramic views of the Andes.

Continue to a historic Peruvian hacienda where a traditional lunch is served amidst the valley's stunning scenery.

The afternoon highlights Peruvian cultural heritage through an elegant exhibition of the famed Peruvian Paso Horse, accompanied by a colorful Marinera dance performance, one of Peru's most beloved artistic traditions.

Guests also enjoy a visit of the hacienda and gain insight into the region's agricultural history and contemporary farming life.

Later, check into your luxury resort nestled along the Urubamba River.

Following breakfast, transfer to Ollantaytambo Station to board the luxurious Vistadome Observatory train.

The scenic rail journey is an experience in itself, passing through dramatic mountain landscapes, deep river gorges, snow-capped peaks, and ancient settlements hidden among the Andes.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, continue by shuttle bus to the legendary citadel of Machu Picchu.

Believed to have served as a royal retreat and ceremonial center for the Inca Emperor Pachacutec, Machu Picchu remains one of the world's most awe-inspiring archaeological sites. Surrounded by towering peaks and lush cloud forest, the remarkably preserved city showcases the extraordinary engineering and architectural achievements of the Inca civilization.

Following your visit, savor lunch at the renowned Sanctuary Lodge, located adjacent to the archaeological site.

Board the Vistadome train for the scenic return journey through the Sacred Valley before transferring back to your hotel.

DAY FOUR | CUSCO – LIMA – CALLAO

This morning travel to Cusco, once the capital of the vast Inca Empire and today one of South America's most fascinating historic cities.

Begin at Koricancha, known as the Temple of the Sun, one of the most sacred sites in the Inca world. Following the Spanish conquest, the Santo Domingo Convent was constructed atop its foundations, creating a unique blend of Inca and colonial architecture.

Continue to Cusco Cathedral, situated on the city's magnificent Main Square. The cathedral houses an impressive collection of religious art, gilded altars, sculptures, and paintings from the celebrated Cusco School.

Explore the vibrant heart of the city before enjoying lunch at the acclaimed MAP Café, one of Cusco's most elegant dining venues.

Following lunch, transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima.

Upon arrival, continue directly to Callao and rejoin the ship.
