Excursion Kew gardens (tour & airport transfer) tour at London
Cruise line: SilverseaDifficulty:
Journey approximately 90 minutes to one of the most horticulturally renowned projects in the world -- the beautiful Kew Gardens. Situated in West London, Kew Gardens can be traced to the merging of the royal estates of Richmond and Kew in 1772. Nowadays, Kew Gardens is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a place of global significance where you can enjoy the most diverse living plant collection in the world.
Kew Gardens, Temperate House
Your arrival will begin with a guided tour of the Temperate House. Your knowledgeable and informative guide will help you identify plants and which region they are native to -- Africa, New Zealand, the Americas, Asia and the Pacific Islands. With the global challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss and food security, these important plant collections highlight Kew's role in safeguarding rare and threatened plants from extinction.
