Excursion Jungle trek tour at Manaus

Learn to survive in the wild while gaining a new insight in to the forest during this half-day jungle hike.
Guedes Lake
Board a regional riverboat and cruise the Rio Negro for approximately 45-minutes to reach Guedes Lake. Disembark at the local wooden pier and meet a local with vast experience in jungle survival, for a little talk about the rainforest and what, with luck, will be seen along the trail.
Jungle Trek
Follow your well-trained guide through the jungle trail for a close-up look of the wonderful surroundings. During the walk, there will be several stops in which the guide will explain survival techniques such as how to construct a shelter or find a climbing plant containing drinking water.
After the jungle trek, embark the boat for the return journey to the floating pier in Manaus.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Transportation is by local riverboat or regional speedboat. Caution is advised when embarking and disembarking the boat. The river boat is equipped with basic restroom facilities. Sightings of wildlife in their natural habitat cannot be guaranteed. Please be aware that water levels in this area constantly vary, therefore the itinerary is subject to change without prior notice. You may get wet while participating in this tour. Guests are advised to wear a raincoat, lightweight, comfortable clothing with long trousers and flat-soled, closed-toe, high-grip walking shoes, and bring sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat and sunglasses from the ship. A small bar is available on board the riverboat to purchase drinks. Make sure you have USD in small denomination or Brazilean Real, since credit card will not be accepted.
