Excursion Jersey coastal hike tour at Saint Helier

Begin your hike at the Bay of St. Aubins, a captivating fishing village nestled along one of the islands manmade harbours. Following the Jersey coastal path to Noirmont Point, stopping to view the German World War 2 bunkers which has now become a poignant memorial of the island’s wartime history. A chance to also admire the scenery from Lothringen observation point.
Continue along the route where you will be able to take in the stunning coastal views of Portelet Bay before making your way towards the nature reserve. This coastal heathland boasts a remarkable diversity of plant and bird species. Hiking through Portelet Common onto Ouaisne Bay before ending in St Breledes.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking for approx. 7.2 km (4.5 miles) and good walking shoes are recommended. The hiking is on different terrains as well as slight inclines up to Noirmont Point, along with steps down to beach. Kindly be informed that the definitive departure times for the tour will be allocated at a later stage.
