Excursion Golden coast hiking (moderate hike) tour at Portimao

Enjoy one of the most famous stretches of the Algarvian golden coast on a moderate hike through some of its most beautiful scenery.

Depart the pier on foot following your expert local guide. This scenic route runs from Portimão harbor to Alvor and offers a string of notable stops at Praia da Rocha, Praia do Vau, Jão Arens and Alvor beaches among others.

The walk takes place along the top of coastal cliffs defined by deeply sculpted shapes and beautiful ocher and golden cliffs, and it takes about 4 hours.

There will be time to enjoy a dive in the Atlantic crystal waters in one of these beaches, before boarding a minibus for the short drive back to the ship.

Please note: this tour is not recommended for guests with limited mobility. This tour involves 6 km (3.7 miles) of hiking, mostly on natural terrain. Guests are recommended to wear hiking shoes, sunscreen, and a hat, bring a towel and wear a swimsuit if wishing to swim (weather depending).
