Discover some of the famous wineries of the Dobrodgea Region.

Viisoara Winery

After a short drive through Constanta and countryside, you will arrive at the Viisoara Winery, a family owned winery founded in 1998 by the Albu family. The winery stretches over 260 ha and produces more the 1.2mio liters of bottled wine. After the visit of the winery and its production area, you will have the chance to taste some of the wines produced here, among them Feteasca Alba, Sauvignon Blanc, Tamaioasa Romaneasca, Pinot Noir and Feteasca Neagra.

Vladoi Family Winery

Board your coach again and drive deep into the countryside of the Dobrodgea region towards the Vladoi Family Winery, where you will find the 19ha of vine located in the village Siminoc. The winery was founded in 1995 and modernized by 2009. Today the winery has a processing capacity of 200 tons of grapes and a storage capacity of 80 000 L (stainless steel barrels are used). The winery is equipped with: air pressure, steel wine makers, cold fermentation facility, controlled cooling system for filters, pumps and so on. To obtain a higher quality, the selection of the grapes takes place in the vineyard; they are picked in boxes of 15 to 20 kg in order to avoid their compaction and oxidation of the unfermented wine. Furthermore, before going into production the grapes are sifted out once more. Bottling is semi-automatic with a capacity of 350 bottles per hour. The aging and maturation are done in 225 liter oak Romanian and French barrels. The vineyards include domestic and international varieties such as: Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat Ottonel, Chardonnay, Tamaioasa Romaneasca, Feteasca Regala, Italian Riesling Italian for white wines; for red wines: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Feteasca Neagra, Syrah. Vladoi family founded in 2008 an orchard of about 1.5 ha with these varieties: nectarines, apricots, cherries, quinces, plums and apples.

Gabai winery

Your next stop will be the Gabai winery, a small family owned winery with just 3ha of vine that was born out of love for high quality wine. Blessed by God with good and fertile land, with warm sun and clean soul, the Gabai winery transposes the beauty of the Dobrodgea lands into the flavor of a glass of wine from the Gabai Wine Cellar. Visit the production area and enjoy a wine tasting of different grape varieties such as Muscat Ottonel, Italian Riesling, Feteasca Neagra and Pinot Noir.
