Excursion Discover the royal borough of greenwich tour at London

Cruise line: Silversea
Difficulty:

Greenwich is one of London's most popular sight-seeing destinations and it brims with maritime, scientific, and royal history. In 2012, this leafy London suburb became the Royal Borough of Greenwich in recognition of the town's long and illustrious heritage as well as its royal associations. Today enjoy visiting the key sites of Greenwich, see St. Alfege Church, the Royal Naval College, the Greenwich Market, as well as visiting the National Maritime Museum and the Royal Observatory.

Both visits to the Royal Observatory and Maritime Museum are free-flow but your guide will be there to lead the way and to add facts and history and insights to all that you see.

Before returning to Tower Pier there will be some free time to explore lower Greenwich at your own pace.

Note

Please note: This tour consists of a 90-minute walking tour at a leisurely pace (approximately 3 miles). We recommend comfortable walking shoes and a rain jacket in case of a shower. Please be advised that the driving distance between the pier and Greenwich is approximately 45 minutes in each direction (depending on the traffic) and lunch is not included on this tour and will be at guests’ own expense.
