Depart the pier for the short drive to the Fairview Great House, located at the foot of Olivees Mountain. Originally built by the French military in 1701 to house officers, the Fairview Great House is a prime example of Colonial-style architecture and built almost entirely from wood. Upon arrival at this beautiful property, proceed to the ATV base and meet your guide, then receive your safety instructions, and an orientation on the use of the ATVs and take a test drive. Afterward, don your safety helmet, hop aboard your ATV, and join your experienced guide for an unforgettable, approximately 1.5-hour, off-road adventure.

Your guide leads you on a thrilling ride through old sugar cane fields, down country dirt tracks, and up scenic slopes. Photo stops are made en route for breath-taking panoramic views and photo opportunities of the Caribbean Sea, Nevis, and other neighbouring islands on clear days. The final leg of your scenic and exciting ATV journey returns you to the ATV base. Upon arrival and after a comfort stop to freshen-up and change clothing, enjoy a refreshing drink and seasonal fruits, and browse the gift shoppe for a souvenir of your visit. At the conclusion of your tour, re-board your coach and commence the short drive back to the pier.

This tour involves an extensive amount of off-road driving and a moderate amount of walking, at times over uneven, sandy, and natural surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and ATVs, and 25 steps at the Fairview Great House. Walking at the Fairview Great House is at the discretion of each guest. Each ATV utilised on this tour seats one passenger. The ride may be rough at times, and guests will experience bumpy, jerking motions. This tour is recommended for guests who are in good physical condition. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with neck/back problems, guests with heart/respiratory conditions, guests prone to motion sickness, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable clothing (including long pants and long-sleeve shirts) with flat, sturdy and closed-toe walking or hiking shoes they won’t mind getting dirty, and bring sun protection, weatherproof windbreaker, bottled water, and US Dollars, local currency, or credit cards for purchases from the ship; open-toed shoes are not permitted on this tour. The price of this tour is per person, and based on one person per ATV. Guests must be at least 16 years old, and present a valid ID showing proof of age, to drive an ATV on this tour. Safety helmets are provided, and must be worn the entire time during the ATV-ride. Guests weighing more than 250 pounds (about 113 kilograms) cannot participate on this tour. Photography/videography is prohibited whilst driving the dune buggy. Light refreshments are included at the Fairview Great House; additional drinks are available at each guest’s own expense. Guests must be at least 18 years old to be served alcoholic beverages. Guests may not drive the ATV if they have consumed alcohol. Operation of this tour is subject to weather conditions. A signed waiver is required to participate on this tour. The tour sequence may vary.
