Excursion Amalfi drive, positano & lunch in a deluxe hotel tour at Naples

Depart the pier and board a private minibus for the scenic 1.5 hour drive along the spectacular Sorrento and Amalfi Coast to Positano.  The narrow road winds along the side of rocky seaside cliffs, and offers breathtaking views of the Italian Riviera.  Marvel at the rocks rising from the sea, and see small boats in sheltered sandy coves that look like brightly coloured toys from above.

Upon arrival in Positano begin a short walk to the city's main centre. Enjoy an introductory tour, continue exploring with your guide the designer boutiques, souvenir shops and art galleries found along the main street and narrow alleys.

Once a small fishing village, Positano is now the star attraction of the entire Amalfi Coast.  White Moorish-type houses cling dramatically to slopes around a small sheltered bay.  Many of the houses can only be reached via steep staircases.  A 1.5-hour visit allows you to take in the unique setting and special ambience of Positano.  At the appointed time, rejoin your guide and walk to a Deluxe Hotel located by the sea.

A three-course lunch will be served in a 5-star hotel located in the heart of Positano's lively shopping area. It offers an enchanting view on the sea, with Li Galli Rocks and Positano, thanks to his privileged location directly on the sea.

Leaving the hotel, walk back to the minibus pick-up point and return to Naples via the same stretch of Amalfi Drive, Sorrento Coast and Motorway.

Please note: Due to the nature of Amalfi Drive, this tour operates in mini-coaches; air-conditioning may not be as effective as in large coaches. The total time spent in Positano is approximately 1.5 hours. There is a moderate amount of walking involved on this tour and it is not recommended for guests with limited mobility or for those who utilise a wheelchair. Positano is pedestrian-only and must be seen on-foot. There are many stairs to negotiate and uphill/downhill walking in the centre of Positano as well as uphill walking. Lunch will be served at a five-star hotel in Positano. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Minimum age to participate is 12 years old. A minimum number of participants are required to operate this tour and space is very limited, we recommend you book early as to avoid disappointment. Please be aware that return times back to the pier may vary due to traffic conditions along the Amalfi Coast, which can be unpredictable.
