Alanya Castle

One of the symbols of Alanya - the Alanya castle is standing over the rocky peninsula in the middle of the city. The fortress today is a remain of 13th century Seljuk fortress built after the conquest of Alanya in 1220 by Alaeddin Keykubat I. It is surrounded by 6km long walls, including numerous towers.


Archaeological Museum

The museum consists of two sections devoted to the conservation and display of archaeological and ethnographic artefacts. Exhibited in a separate room is the crowned jewel of Alanya's Archaeological Museum; a very well-preserved bronze statue of Hercules, approximately 20.4 inches (52 centimetres) in height and dating from the 2nd century BCE


Dim Cave

Located 11km away from Alanya, this underground fairyland is home to spectacular stalactite and stalagmite formations with a crystal-clear pool at the deepest depth. A 360m-long walkway leads you through the length of the cave.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of activity, involving approximately 1 km of walking, at times over uneven and slippery surfaces and approximately 60 steps to negotiate at the cave. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Lightweight, comfortable clothing, flat, non-slip, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended.
