Start your tour by meeting your tour guide at the Monte Carlo cruise dock.
Old Town Stroll, Cathedral, Oceanographic Museum, Prince's Palace
From here, drive to to the charming Old Monaco Ville for a nice stroll.
Escorted by your tour guide, you will explore the pristine old town Monaco-Ville, a veritable open-air museum with old narrow alleyways from the Middle Ages. Enjoy the beautiful architecture of old buildings, admire the serene gardens surrounding the town, and enjoy exploring small pedestrianized public squares peppered with small shops and outdoor cafes. There will be time for you to relax and enjoy snacks or beverages on your own. As you make your way around the heart of the old town, you will see several famous and absolutely breathtaking buildings, including the Façade of the Oceanographic Museum, the stunning Façade of Palais du Prince. Please note that depending on the time of your tour, you may also see the fascinating Changing of the Guard outside the Palais du Prince.
In Monaco Ville, you will enter the majestic Monaco Cathedral. This beautiful roman-Byzantine style building was built with white stone from la Turbie in 1875, and houses the burial places of past princes of Monaco. The interior boasts several important 16th century paintings and a wooden alter dating back to the Spanish Renaissance period.
On the way back to the ship, follow the Grand Prix circuit, before heading to Monte Carlo, where you will see from your van the Façade of Hotel de Paris & Casino.
