Tsambika Beach

Tsambika is one of the most beautiful beaches on Rhodes. A long, broad beach with fine, golden sand and emerald crystal-clear water will offer you the perfect opportunity to relax. One can also admire the imposing rock with the Monastery of the Virgin of Tsambika, from which the beach has taken its name. The virgin of Tsambika is said to work miracles and young woman having difficulty in conceiving often pray for her aid. If their prayers are answered, they name the child after the Virgin.

Transfer to Beach & Free Time

Board the coach and drive for an approximately 30-minutes to beautiful Tsambika Beach. Enjoy lying in the sun, sipping a refreshing drink, or taking a rejuvenating dip in the calm waters of the Ionian Sea. After approximately 3 hours on the beach, re-join your coach at the appointed place and time for the return transfer to the pier.

Inclusions

Your tour includes a round-trip transfer, two sun beds and one umbrella per couple, complimentary soft drink and an assistance of tour escort.

Note

Please note: Tour involves minimal walking; however guests must be able to walk through the sand to their sunbeds and local facilities (a walk from the parking area to the beach is approximately 150 meters over sandy and uneven ground). Guests should wear their swimsuit under a cover-up, and bring a towel from the ship. During the summer months, especially July and August the beach gets crowded. The sun can get quite strong and high sun protection is recommended. The operation of this programme is weather dependent.
