Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 30-minute drive to the Museum of Tahiti. Opened in 1974, it proposes a new exhibition and a beautiful garden, in front of Moorea Island. The museum offers a comprehensive insight into the rich cultural heritage and natural history of French Polynesia. Its exhibits include traditional artifacts, historical documents, and displays on the region's flora and fauna, providing a deep understanding of Polynesian culture and history. Visitors can explore the museum's beautifully curated collections and enjoy its picturesque setting along the island's west coast.

Reboard the coach to visit the Marae Arahurahu. Marae Arahurahu, located in the lush Papenoo Valley of Tahiti, is a meticulously restored traditional Polynesian temple that offers a glimpse into the island's ancient cultural practices and religious ceremonies. Visitors can explore its stone structures and sacred grounds, gaining insight into the spiritual and social life of the Polynesian people.

Continue to Vaipahi Gardens before stopping for lunch. Enjoy the serene botanical oasis featuring a diverse array of tropical plants, tranquil water features, and scenic walking paths.

Lunch, Waterfalls, Venus Point, Taharaa Viewpoint

Relax at a local restaurant for lunch, before proceeding to see the lush waterfalls of the island. See the beautiful waterfalls which offers wonderful photo opportunities. Leaving the falls, re-board your coach and continue on to the Pointe Venus. Situated in the north on the edge of Matavai Bay, it is famous for having been the site of successive landings of European navigators. Captain James Cook named the site 'Venus' in memory of his scientific trip to observe the planet. Your last stop is at the Taharaa Viewpoint. Upon arrival, take in spectacular panoramic views across to the east coast and all the way to Papeete, as well as the impressive silhouette of Moorea.

At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the short drive the Silversea Contrancted hotel or airport.

Please note: This tour is offered only to disembarking guests with flights after 7:30pm or guests staying at a hotel in Papeete and it ends at the airport. It requires a moderate amount of walking and is not wheelchair accessible. Guests are advised to bring bottle of water from the ship. Order of the stops may vary depending on traffic & weather conditions. On rainy days and for security reasons, some of the stops could be replaced. Operation is subject to minimum participation.
