Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary
Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 30-minute drive to the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary in Hobart, a Tasmanian sanctuary for orphaned or injured animals. During your visit, free time is made available to explore the sanctuary's unique animals, including Tasmania devils, quolls, wombats, kangaroos, and wallabies, and learn about their inspiring survival stories.
Richmond Bridge & Town
Next, re-board your coach for the short ride across the Richmond Bridge, the oldest bridge in the city, to the historic town of Richmond, a former military staging post and convict station located in the Coal River Valley. Upon arrival, take a guided walking tour of the town, which is highlighted by fine Georgian architecture. Following your tour, some free time is made available to discover Richmond's wonderful galleries, cafés and boutiques at your leisure.
At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the short drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking for approximately 1.24 miles (about two kilometres), at times over uneven surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach. Walking at the Bonorong Wildlife Park and Richmond is at the discretion of each guest. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable clothing in layers with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection and a light jacket from the ship. Please note that in some cases, this tour is mainly guided by the driver and may not have a seperate guide escorting the tour. Please be aware that there is no guarantee of any specific animal being present at the sanctuary as the animals are regularly released back into the wild.
