Agbodrafo, Wood Home and Pedakondji

Depart the pier for the scenic, approximate 45-minute drive through the coconut grove to Agbodrafo, a former Portuguese slave trade post. Upon arrival, visit the slave dungeons at Wood Home, then continue on to the fishing village of Pedakondji. Here, meet the fishermen and explore their village.


Glidji, Lunch and Riverside Village

Next, re-board your coach and drive past Aneho, the nation's first capital city, towards Glidji Village, a voodoo stronghold. Upon arrival, meet the voodoo priests and learn about their religion. Following your visit, proceed for a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, re-board your coach for the drive through farmland en route to a village on the banks of the Mono River.


Zangbeto Dance and Fetish Market

Upon arrival at the riverside village, observe a performance of the Zangbeto, the traditional guardians' ritual dance. Following your visit, commence the return drive to Lome. Afterward, re-board your coach and commence the brief drive back to the pier.

This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and those who utilise a wheelchair. Lightweight, comfortable clothing, flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended.
