Excursion Punta ninfas & penguins at el pedral tour at Puerto Madryn

Punta Ninfas is located 73 km southwest of Puerto Madryn. It can be described as an outstanding display of nature, its main feature being the Patagonian steppe with its shrubby vegetation continuously shaken by the wind. Also, its highly appreciated land fauna- guanacos, foxes among others, which can normally be observed. Most of "El Pedral" Ranch coastline is sheltered by high cliffs that slope down the sea. From the cliff tops, there is a magnificent view of the "Golfo Nuevo" main points: Punta Ninfas & Morro Nuevo, the mouth of the gulf. During this visit, you will visit Punta Ninfas view point, the Pengion Rookery (a very small penguin colony that is starting to grow in this area), as well as enjoy a local traditional barbecued Patagonian lamb lunch in El pedral.

Please note: This excursion includes a 90-minute bus ride in each direction, plus transfer time in between sites. There is significant walking involved on this excursion; guests must be able to walk over uneven and steep terrain, climb stairs and stand for extend periods of time. Guests should note that not all of the roads are paved and the gravel roads are bumpy and can be dusty, and air conditioning is not guaranteed in Patagonia. Because of the dusty roads, systems might not work correctly or have difficulties while on tour. Guests are recommended to wear comfortable clothing with a warm layer and sturdy walking shoes.
