Excursion Panoramic mull tour at Tobermory

Enjoy a panoramic tour of some of Scotland's most iconic countryside as you traverse the ruggedly beautiful coast of Mull. Touring through winding country lanes, this delightful scenic route offers an overview of the island's contrasting land and seascapes.

Your excursion will take you south from Tobermory along the coastal road which provides extensive views of the beautiful coastline and across the Sound of Mull to the mountains of Morvern. The road is narrow and on several stretches is single-track as it passes through agricultural areas with their small neat farms and grazing cattle. A short comfort stop is made in Craignure, an important ferry port connecting the Isle of Mull with Oban on Scotland's mainland.

Continue across the island through the spectacular Glen More with breath-taking views of this beautiful glen and Mull's highest mountain, and only munro - Ben More. Continue towards the Kinloch crossroad, from here, the road becomes very narrow. On a clear day, enjoy views overlooking Mull's neighbouring islands and keep your eyes peeled for wildlife as you make your way up to Salen where another short stop is made.

Once back on the coach, it is only a short transfer back to Tobermory and your awaiting ship.

Please note: This tour involves very little walking, all of which is at guests' discretion at the photo stops. The majority of the time is spent on the coach. Restroom facilities are extremely limited. There are facilities available before boarding the coach in Tobermory which requires coinage. The duration of the tour can be shorter/longer depending on the amount of holiday traffic on the island. This tour is suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear warm, layered clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes and a weatherproof jacket from the ship.Due to the local climate, most of the coaches are air-cooled.
