DAY ONE – Monday, April 6, 2026 – Kilwa Kisiwani/Serengeti National Park

Savor an early breakfast on board before starting your four-day adventure to Serengeti National Park. You will be transferred from the pier in Kilwa to the island’s airstrip, where you will board a small light aircraft for your flight to Serengeti/Seronera (12-seat light aircraft with a fuel stop in Dar es Salaam, approx. 180 minutes).

You will arrive at Seronera around noon and then transfer to the Four Seasons Safari Lodge for check-in and lunch at Maji Bar and Terrace. Please note that the transfer time from the airport to the lodge is approximately a 60-minute drive.

Following lunch, you can look forward to a two-hour afternoon game drive in the Serengeti. Experience your first encounter with nature and wildlife and enjoy your first evening with a dinner by the poolside accompanied by live band entertainment. Just a few meters from the animal watering hole, immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of your new surroundings - the Maasai will be on hand to highlight any visiting wildlife for you to observe.

DAY TWO – Tuesday, April 7, 2026 – Serengeti National Park

This morning you have the chance to explore a different aspect of the Serengeti with an early morning Balloon Safari. You will join a select few who will gracefully drift over the vast Serengeti plains in a hot-air balloon. A wake-up call will precede your transfer to the launch site, where the balloon will take off at dawn. Following your 3-hour flight, savor a bush breakfast beneath the shade of an Acacia Tree, providing a genuine 'Out of Africa' experience! (This is an optional excursion; if you are interested in the Hot Air Balloon Serengeti experience, please inform the Silversea Reservation Team at the time of booking this overland trip).

After breakfast, proceed with a game drive in the Serengeti, exploring the local ecosystem before enjoying lunch at the hotel. Guests who choose not to take part in the Balloon Safari may opt for a morning game drive.

In the afternoon, set out on another game drive, soaking in the sights and sounds of the bush as wildlife activity reaches its peak. As the sun begins to dip below the horizon, enjoy a specially arranged sundowner in a stunning natural setting, sipping drinks and marveling at the breathtaking sunset. Following this memorable experience, return to the lodge to relax and indulge in a delicious dinner, celebrating the magic of your day in the wilderness.

DAY THREE – Wednesday, April 8, 2026 – Serengeti National Park

Begin your day with an early morning game drive, immersing yourself in the vibrant wildlife awakening at dawn. Afterward, return to the lodge to enjoy breakfast and indulge in a relaxed, leisurely morning amid the tranquil surroundings. As midday approaches, enjoy a delicious hot lunch. In the afternoon, venture out once more on an exciting game drive, continuing your exploration of the wilderness and the incredible wildlife it hosts.

Alternatively, you can opt for a full-day game drive that includes a picnic lunch box (from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM). Please discuss your interests and schedule with your guide the night before.

In the evening, immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of the Serengeti with a bush dinner beneath the starlit sky of the African savannah, accompanied by the Maasai security team and a local ranger. If the weather is unfavorable, the setup will be relocated to the hotel premises.

DAY FOUR – Thursday, April 9, 2026 – Serengeti National Park/Zanzibar

Following breakfast, check out of the hotel and head back to Seronera airstrip for your flight from Serengeti to Zanzibar (12-seat light aircraft with a fuel stop in Dar es Salaam, approx. 120x minutes).

You will arrive in Zanzibar around 11:00h and then transfer to the port to board Silver Cloud, carrying with your unforgettable memories from an incredible Serengeti adventure. Savor lunch on board and spend a leisurely afternoon on the island or participate in one of the afternoon excursions to explore Zanzibar.

Please note: This Mid-Voyage Land Adventure is recommended to guests who are physically fit.  It is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or those who utilize a wheelchair. The game drive vehicles to traverse uneven terrain and the ride can be bumpy, making it unsuitable for guests with back problems. This Land Adventure involves touring outdoors and guests may be exposed to warm, humid and/or wet weather and insects; please pack accordingly. We recommend wearing lightweight clothing; bring a windbreaker or warm clothing for the evening and early morning game drives. Since the safari vehicles are open, a sunhat, sun block, insect repellent and sunglasses are recommended. Remember also to bring your camera and binoculars. The contents and activities of this program are subject to change, depending on weather conditions and the movement of wildlife in the reserve. Malaria is present in the Serengeti region of Tanzania, especially during the rainy season from November to April. We recommend consulting your physician about appropriate prophylaxis and preventive measures before travelling. Airlines restrict baggage to 15kg (33lbs) per person; hand luggage cannot exceed 5kg (11lbs) in weight. Animal sightings are frequent but cannot be guaranteed.
