Experience the pristine natural beauty of Langkawi in a unique new way during this picturesque, half-day kayaking excursion through the island's mangrove forests.
Scenic Drive and Kelim Jetty and River Delta
Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 40-minute drive to the Kelim Jetty, located at the north-eastern tip of Langkawi Island. En route, pass by Malay kampongs (villages), rice fields, rubber plantations and fruit orchards. Upon arrival at Kelim Jetty, view the river delta that feeds the mangrove swamps' ecological system.
River Safari Cruise and Limestone Cave
Next, embark your kayak and begin a 2 hours and 30 minutes guided kayaking tour through the mangrove forest. Along the way, hear the sounds of the forest's denizens, and marvel at the surrounding flora and fauna. Stops are made for a visit to a local fish farm, and a guided walk through a bat cave and keep watch for wildlife sightings. Upon returning to the Kelim Jetty, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 40-minute drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of activity and walking for approximately 656 yards (about 600 metres), at times over uneven surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and embark/disembark the boat, 16 steps at the jetty and steps at the limestone cave. This tour is recommended for guests who are in good physical condition and able to kayak. This tour is not suitable for guests prone to seasickness, guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, rubber-soled walking shoes, and bring sun protection, insect repellent and a towel from the ship. Guests must be at least 15 years old to participate on this tour. Space on this tour is very limited; we suggest you book in advance to avoid disappointment. Wildlife is not guaranteed.
