Explore one of Ilhabela's famous beaches on this half-day excursion by land and sea to Jabaquara Beach.
Jabaquara Beach
After disembarking at the pier, take one of two transport options to the same destination. Board a Schooner or a 4x4 vehicle towards Jabaquara Beach (one-hour transit approximately).
Schooner Experience
The schooner, on its way to Jabaquara Beach, passes by the beaches of Barreiros, Viana, and Sino, famous for its rocks that resemble the sound of church bells. Passing the historic Ponta das Canas lighthouse, disembark at Jabaquara Beach which is surrounded by the stunning rainforest.
Jeep Ride
At the same time the schooner departs, the jeep leaves towards Jabaquara Beach passing by Barreiros viewpoint to make a quick stop for pictures with your ship in the background. Still on the way, visit distinctive Sino's beach, where you can not only see but also "hear" the rocks. Continuing after Ponta das Canas Lighthouse is a dirt road leading you to Jabaquara Beach.
Relax on the beach
Whether you arrive by boat or jeep, relax and enjoy the beauty of this beach with around 1.5 hours of leisure time to sunbathe, swim or take in the view of the magnificent sea. On the way back, all guests who went by jeep, will return by schooner and vice versa, making the same route back.

Please note: This excursion involves many steps and moderate walking on uneven surfaces, making this tour unsuitable for guests with limited mobility. Light clothing, swimwear, comfortable walking shoes and a towel are recommended. Local currency or USD in low denominations are required to purchase snacks and drinks at the beach. Minimum age to partecipate in this tour is 12 years old. The transfer from the schooner to the beach is provided by an 8-seat zodiac boat. Guests should be physically capable of managing this transfer, as the landing at the beach will be a wet landing.
Guests are advised to wear their swimming suit under their clothes, altough it is possible to use the basic local toilets as changing rooms.
