This half day tour invites you to paddle through the islands and inlets of Haugesund’s serene archipelago.

Meet your guide at the pier and set out on a short walk to the kayak depot along flat terrain. On arrival, receive a focused introductory session and safety briefing from your professional instructor, covering paddle technique, maneuvering, and cold-water best practices.

Launch your single kayak and begin the exploration. Depending on conditions and group ability, expect approximately 1.5 to 2 hours of paddling, gliding past rocky skerries and sheltered channels that open toward the outer islands. The route is adjusted on the day to keep the experience both scenic and comfortable, staying closer inshore if weather dictates. Drybags for phones are available on request, and lifejackets are provided. After your time on the water, return to shore, hand back your gear, and enjoy a 15-minute walk back to the pier, rounding off a refreshing, nature-forward adventure.

Please Note: This tour involves an extensive amount of activity, including approximately 0.75 miles (1.2 km) of walking in total between the pier and the kayak depot and up to two hours of paddling; it is not wheelchair accessible and unsuitable for guests with limited mobility; the minimum age is 13, with maximum height 190 cm and maximum weight 100 kg; single kayaks are used and the route and total paddling time may vary with weather and group ability; guests should wear weather-appropriate active clothing and secure, closed-toe footwear, avoid bringing loose items, and be aware that sea spray is likely; a waiver may be required by the operator; lifejackets are included and drybags are available on request; no meals or beverages are included.
