Experience a unique blend of old and new during this scenic, half-day walking tour through the intriguing city of Hong Kong.
Western District Walking Tour
Depart the pier for the approximately 30-minute drive to the Western District. Upon arrival, take a guided stroll along streets filled with seafood vendors and Chinese herb shops, two old traditions practised to this day. From here, pass by speciality shops selling ginseng and bird's nest on Wing Lok Street, and abalone, scallops and other exotic dried seafood items on Des Voeux Road West. See an abundance of herbal medicines along Ko Shing Street, and antique and curio shops on Hollywood Road.
Man Mo Temple & Hollywood Road
Your tour continues with a visit to the Man Mo Temple, the oldest of its kind in Hong Kong. Afterward, ride the longest outdoor escalator past the Soho area before reaching Holywood Road. A stop is made at a Hong Kong-style café, a favourite local hangout. Unwind with a cup of local English tea or coffee accompanied by a famous egg custard tart - a Hong Kong experience.
Star Ferry
Next, continue to Central District, the bustling financial heart of the city filled with modern buildings. Upon arrival, embark the Star Ferry for a panoramic ride across Victoria Harbour and take in splendid views of the beautiful skyline, before returning to the pier.
