Depart the pier with your guide for the short walk to a local wharf, and your awaiting junk-boat for a picturesque, approximately 1.5-hour cruise along magnificent Ha Long Bay, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ha Long Bay is made up of 1,969 islands of various sizes topped by thick jungle growth, 989 of which have been given names. This densely concentrated zone of stone islands, world famous for its spectacular scenery of grottoes and caves, forms the central zone of Ha Long Bay.

Pass by the rocks and islets en route to the fishing village of Vung Vien. Upon arrival at the kayaking location on Ha Long Bay, disembark your junk-boat and meet your kayaking program instructor. After receiving your safety and kayaking instructions and gear, embark your single- or double-kayak for an exhilarating, approximately 1.5-hour guided kayaking journey. Whilst gliding along the emerald waters of the bay area, marvel at the dramatic natural scenery that surrounds you, and see the Luon Cave and fishing village.

Junk-Boat-Cruise, Lunch, Hang Co Cave

At the conclusion of the kayaking portion of your tour, return to the kayaking location at Vung Vien Village. Upon arrival, disembark your kayak, then embark your junk-boat and enjoy a local lunch during the scenic and relaxing cruise to Hang Co Cave. Upon arrival, disembark your junk-boat for a guided walking tour inside this exquisite cave. At the conclusion of your tour, embark your vessel for the approximately 75-minute cruise back to the local wharf. Upon arrival, disembark your junk-boat and commence the short walk back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of activity and a moderate amount of walking for approximately 547 yards (about 500 metres), at times over uneven natural surfaces and inclines, with three-six steps to negotiate to embark/disembark the junk-boat and kayak. This tour is recommended for active guests who are in good physical condition, experienced kayakers, and can swim well in water over their head. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with back and/or neck problems, guests with heart and/or respiratory problems, guests prone to seasickness, guests prone to claustrophobia, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear a swimsuit under a cover-up with flat, closed-toe walking or water shoes they won’t mind getting wet, and bring sun protection, insect repellent, a towel, change of clothing, bottled water, dry bag for your camera, cell phone. Guests must be at least 12 years old to participate on this tour. This kayaking tour operates in double-kayaks. Although frequently encountered on this type of tour, wildlife, fish, and marine life sightings are not guaranteed. Life vests, kayaks, and paddles are provided. Waterproof cameras are highly recommended. The total kayaking time is approximately 1.5 hours. A signed waiver is required to participate on this tour. Operation of this tour is subject to weather, tidal, and sea conditions. The tour sequence may vary. Space on this tour is extremely limited; we suggest you book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
