Húsavík is one of the first places in Iceland to see Norse population settlements. The name of the town means "bay of houses" and probably refers to the homestead that the settler Garðar Svavarsson built in the 9th century. During this tour, explore the town on a guided walk including a visit to the Botanical Gardens.
