Excursion Discover the algarve coast by rib boat tour at Portimao

Discover the Algarvian coast, caves, and look out for dolphins in this boat ride to the Alfanzina Lighthouse. Drive for 15 minutes to Cais Vasco da Gama where you will board your boat. Before boarding, there will be a safety briefing where you will be equipped with a life jackets and, on the cooler day, with waterproof windbreakers.

This amazing adventure takes place on board a semi-rigid, fast, 8-seater boat. Enjoy an educational trip benefitting from the extensive knowledge of the two crew members, a marine biologist and a captain, who know this part of the coast like the palm of their hands.

Be dazzled by several beautiful beaches and unique rock formations whilst exploring the many marine caves, including the famous Benagil cave, an amazingly beautiful example of Mother Nature's work at its best. During the trip, and if sea and weather conditions allow it, you will be able to take a dip.

After discovering the coast, get ready to feel the sea breeze as the boat moves further out on a dolphin finding quest. Enjoy the scenic view of the coast and have the opportunity to contemplate wildlife, such as various species of birds, flying fish and maybe even sharks!
