Excursion Discover greenwich tour at London

Greenwich brims with maritime, scientific, and royal history and in 2012, this leafy London suburb became the Royal Borough of Greenwich in recognition of the town’s long and illustrious heritage as well as its royal association.  

Today, you will have a chance to discover what the area has to offer on foot. This walking exploration will introduce some of the key highlights of the Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site with exclusive ‘out-of-hours’ access to the breathtaking Painted Hall at the Old Royal Navy College. Uncover the story of this riverside estate and conclude your visit with glass of prosecco whilst you watch the Sea Cadets, a maritime themed band perform.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking of approximately 1 mile (1.5 kilometers) mainly on flat terrain with the possibility of some steps. The walk will take approx. 45 minutes and while it would be at a leisurely pace, there will be no rest stops along the way. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes and a weatherproof jacket or coat.
