Excursion Dhow adventure tour at Zanzibar

Experience the breathtaking beaches and vibrant marine life of Zanzibar on this full-day dhow boat and snorkeling excursion. Set sail on a traditional, handcrafted wooden dhow to Prison Island, where you can meet the giant tortoises, snorkel, or simply take a refreshing swim. Afterward, continue your journey to the Pange Sandbank. Once there, you can relax in the shade, sunbathe, or swim and snorkel in the nearby reef, just a short boat ride away. Savor a delicious Zanzibar-style seafood and beef buffet lunch. After your meal, enjoy more swimming or unwind on the serene beach before boarding your dhow for the return trip to the shores of Zanzibar. Please note: This excursion is not recommended for guests with limited mobility as it involves negotiating steps, climbing a ladder to board the dhow and walking through knee-deep water.

Zanzibar is predominantly Muslim; all guests should be conservatively dressed, with shoulders and knees covered. Photographing individuals in uniforms is strictly prohibited to respect their privacy and security. Always ask for permission before taking any photos of individuals. Please check with your guide if you are unsure about photographing someone. As in the tropics, the temperatures and humidity can be quite high. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection is recommended. Swimsuits should be worn under clothing and swimming towels; waterproof aqua shoes and a change of clothing is advised.
