Discover the secrets to preparing Moroccan cuisine during this memorable, half-day cooking experience

Tangier, Kasbah, Medina

Depart the pier for the short drive to the Kasbah. Upon arrival, take a guided walking tour through the Kasbah and the narrow streets of the Medina, also known as the "Old Town."

Leaving via the market, stop at a bustling souk where your guide will teach you some basic Arabic phrases as you explore. Continue to visit a Ferrane, a communal oven where local residents take their loaves of dense, pita-shaped bread for baking. Next, visit a spice shop to familiarize yourself with the varied aromas and odors of different spices essential to Moroccan cuisine.

Hands-on Culinary Experience

The experience includes an interactive cooking session conducted in English, where each guest actively participates in the preparation of a traditional Moroccan Chicken Tagine with olives and preserved lemon.

Naturally, the event concludes with guests enjoying the delicious meal they have helped create, savoring the authentic flavors of Morocco. At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the short drive back to the pier.
