Excursion Camboriu by cable car tour at Itajai

Experience the coastal splendour of Camboriu from a unique perspective during this panoramic, half-day sightseeing excursion.

Camboriu and Atlantic Avenue

Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 30-minute drive to Camboriu, a much-beloved beach resort consisting of two beaches equal in beauty, and famously connected by cable car. Upon arrival, drive along picturesque Atlantic Avenue en route to Unipraias Park and the famous Barra Sul Cable Car Station.

Upon arrival at the cable car station, board a cable car for an incredibly panoramic ride over the sea and up to the Atlantic Forest. Here, take a guided trek along one of its ecological trails on-foot. Designated an UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, this area is home to many endangered species; look for marmosets or maybe a lion tamarin, a monkey named for its lion-like mane.

Laranjeiras Station

Following your nature trek in Unipraias Park, return to your cable car and continue on to Laranjeiras Station. Upon arrival, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 40-minute drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of activity and walking, at times over uneven and terrain, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach, 15 steps at the cable car station and 200 steps at the Atlantic Forest. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended. Although frequently encountered on this type of tour, animal sightings are not guaranteed.
